Wow! Today is June 12...
Nigeria has indeed come a long way in the battle for democracy and better governance, and taking a quick look back, we have reason to be happy...progress has been made.
We however, obviously still have a long way ahead of us
I look around at other nations, who do not have a tenth of the resources and potentials we have and I am tempted to lose hope... when will we get there? When will we start to treat ourselves with the dignity and respect which should normally be accorded fellow humans.
I see hope in our generation but we need a reorientation... to see differently, to see a better Nigeria, to value ourselves much more than we presently do...
The battle ground for freedom has since shifted.. its now in our minds
May our generation not fail Nigeria
